 Dear Reader,
Well, we don’t know about you, but like many people and businesses during these days immediately following the worldwide Millennium celebrations, we’re suffering from pockets that are rather more empty than usual. In fact, to put it bluntly, we’re facing something of a crossroads. And there’s nothing like actual physical money (or the lack of it!) to teach us lessons in life, is there? So, following Cherie Carter-Scott’s brilliant ‘rules of life’, we asked ourselves, ‘What’s the lesson in this situation?’
The answer we’ve come up with so far is this. Humanity’s collective approach to the millennium has invoked, for many reasons, a kind of invisible tidal wave of truth. This is forcing us all, whether we realise it yet or not, to ‘stand up and be counted’, to ask ourselves what we truly want and believe in... and to shed everything else. And, whether we’re consciously aware of it or not, so strong is humanity’s collective urge for true freedom, that what we don’t change willingly will be changed for us, rather soon. Our souls will no longer dance to the old tune.
Obviously, we’re doing our best to work with that idea on a personal level, as we’re sure you are too, but what does it mean for Cygnus? We believe that, if we are to align ourselves and Cygnus to the energy of the times, our choices must arise more and more from our inner truth, and less and less from mere physical contingency. So... we’ve made a start. To create this Review we searched through literally hundreds and hundreds of newly published books. We chose from them only 19. These were the only ones we felt would give you enough air for your souls and healing for your bodies to make it worthwhile for you to go to the trouble of buying them. The other titles in this magazine are ones many of you have enjoyed in the past, so we hope still more of you will enjoy them in the future. This month’s articles we thought were beautiful, and nothing, not even the extra cost, would have prevented us from sharing them with you.
Finding, and then sharing love and wisdom with as many friends as possible is what we LIVE for, and it’s the flag we intend to fix firmly to our mast for OUR new Millennium. If you are willing to support us in that, we’ll be able to sail on, swift and sure, in our present form. If not, then our form must change, but not our intention – which is to sail in the ship of Life with you, our friends.
