Dear Reader
Well, the Easter Festival is almost upon us once again, and we hope you'll find the opportunity during the coming weeks for rest and renewal - rest from whatever concerns may be beleaguering you at present, and renewal that comes from the insight we gain whenever we step back, relax, and look at things from a higher perspective. Also, as it's Easter, may we invite you to try a little experiment with us, inspired by Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now? Would you like to see what happens when you enter, with us, the tomb of the present moment? Yes, the tomb of the present moment. Just for this tiny moment, can we let ourselves be in a space which, to our ordinary awareness, holds nothing? No past, no future. No memory, no anticipation. No pain, no desire, no regret..... Just for this tiny moment..... 1.....2.....3..... .....and now do you see? Isn't this the tomb which gives birth to the Living? Isn't this the womb which brings forth Life?
In the corner of your eye, did you catch just a glimpse, like the flutter of a butterfly's wing? Did you see? When the I who is i withdraws, the One who is not i is there, already (all-ready), eternally, radiantly, Present. So let us not discard this tiny moment, thinking we have failed if the radiance of the Presence did not appear to last into the next moment, and the next moment, and the next..... Or if we only saw It through the corner of our eye, before it appeared to vanish. The Resurrection is woven, can only be woven, of such tiny moments, tiny moments, in no other moment, but Now. With much love from all of us, Geoff, Ann, Jackie, Derek, Martyn, Jackie M, Sue, Samantha, Regina, Jon, Sam, Bertel, Sandra, Pat, Karena, Louisa, Mary, Emma, Em and Belinda.
