2007 Issue 04: A LITTLE LIGHT ON ANGELS OF PEACE

Dear Friends,

I was having one of those terrible days when everything went wrong. Was I being tested? Was I off centre? How was I attracting these things all at the same time? There was only one thing to do. That evening I found space, lit a candle and joss stick and meditated. I wanted answers and illumination, which, of course, was my ego. In fact I did get some guidance but, more important, I found my sense of inner peace, so that no matter what was being thrown at me, I felt tranquil. Interestingly, the next day all the insurmountable problems eased or were completely resolved.

It reminded me of the time when I was writing A Little Light on Angels and the Angels of Peace gave me a message while I was swimming in the local sports centre! Not a very convenient time! Later that afternoon, when I was sitting in the garden in the sunshine they appeared in front of me in their beautiful serenity to say some more. As I sat down to write this article I looked up that original message again and it was this. ‘Peace must be spread and it can only start within those who are ready to forgo their power struggle with others. Peace is surrender to spirit, not proving that you are better than another.' As I re-read the words they had the same impact on me as did the original message.

The angels then continued to impress on me the importance of creating a peace corner. Some place where you only have peaceful thoughts. When you worry all over your home, you leave the negative energy everywhere. If you have one place where your thoughts are peaceful and positive, the higher frequency starts to spread from there to calm the rest of the house - and the Angels of Peace will be able to enter into that space and help you. You can do the same anywhere in your village or town. Think only peaceful thoughts at a special point and ask your friends to do the same. Then watch it spread.

The mother of a 13-year-old girl shared with me that her daughter had read about the Peace Angels in A Little Light on Angels and seized on this concept. Apparently the mother and her husband were quarrelling, the two boys were always fighting and the atmosphere in the house was fraught. The girl decided she would make a peace chair. She sat in it every day, asked the Angels of Peace to be with her, and sent out peaceful thoughts. Within days everything in the home calmed down. Her brothers stopped fighting; her parents were resolving their difficulties. Soon both her brothers asked if they could use her peace chair too!

I know that each time I am choosing peace in preference to getting my own way or proving I am right, I am contributing to peace on Earth.

Recently I read James Twyman's new book, The Art of Spiritual Peacemaking. I had to read it slowly for each page was precious. That same feeling of alignment to truth and oneness spread over me each time I picked it up. James was lying in the saline-rich waters of the Dead Sea in the Holy Land in a state of deep relaxation when the spirit of Jeshua ben Joseph, who later attained the name Jesus, visited him. Divine love flowed from His eyes and enfolded James as he floated in the sea. At the same time sacred information was downloaded into his heart and mind for his impending course on the Art of Spiritual Peacemaking, which later became the book of the same name. It presents 33 lessons and 365 daily spiritual peacemaking lessons, offering a path to illumination.

James is an inspirational peace troubadour who has travelled worldwide, singing peace songs and talking about the way to co-exist in harmony. He has even performed twice at the United Nations in New York and in many war-torn countries.

When you radiate peace and harmlessness you are totally safe. Nevertheless, it must take a great deal of courage to visit a dangerous place to spread your insights about peace.

Ask the Angels of Peace to enfold you today.

With love, Diana
