Angel Answers is one of the most fascinating books I have written, for the angels were constantly pouring the answers to some of the greatest dilemmas of our time into my mind. No sooner had I typed one reply, than the next question would formulate, and the response with it. I have also recorded the higher angelic perspective on the commonest questions people ask me.
At a time when religious dogma is being questioned, technology and medical advances are moving faster than the spiritual understanding needed to make good decisions, and our social fabric is breaking down; many people are very confused and puzzled. The angels asked me to write this book to demonstrate that there is a higher purpose for every situation, and to offer tools to help deal with or change circumstances.
Did Jesus and Mary Magdalene marry and have a child? Do multiple vaccines cause autism? What can I do to keep my family safe? What is the difference between a spirit guide and an angel? Does forgiveness help a criminal? I feel condemned to a life of drudgery looking after my elderly parents. What can I do? How can I find my life purpose? Who are the Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children?
These are just a small sample of the hundreds of questions posed in Angel Answers. I suppose the most commonly asked questions are ‘Why does God let bad things happen?’, ‘Why does a loving God allow His people to suffer?’ or ‘Why did God take my baby?’ The angelic responses are couched in terms of compassion and I hope that when the higher perspective is understood it will bring relief to many in their heartbreak and personal loss. All the answers empower us to take command of our lives.
We are living in times of great change and social upheaval, when humanity is faced with new moral dilemmas. When discussing such questions as abortion or euthanasia, the angels remind us about soul choices rather than judgements from the ego. They also teach us to communicate with the Higher Selves of those involved. There are angelic responses to social questions about teenage drinking, and old age, as well as current political and economic problems. Bankruptcy and credit card debt, working for immoral companies, acting on questionable orders from your seniors are all difficulties that many people face these days. The angels guide you and offer exercises, visualisations, affirmations and prayers to assist you. They empower you to deal with your situation and move on with your life.
There is a whole section on Abundance. To this question, ‘I don’t want to struggle for a living. What can I do about it?’ the angels answered, ‘Quit your focus on struggle. Whatever you energise continues in your life, so because you are thinking of battle and hardship that is what you have created. Remember times in your life when things flowed and bless those moments. Decide what makes your heart sing and constantly picture yourself attracting a prosperous living by doing what you love to do most. Your beautiful future is already held in the mind of God. Your task is to open the gate and walk through it and make it your own.’
Technological advancement has brought its own problems. ‘Is it spiritually correct to turn off life support when a person is in a persistent coma?’ ‘What is the higher perception of IVF, known as test tube babies?’ and ‘Is it right to keep very premature babies alive?’ Again the Angel Answers to these dilemmas are very simple and practical. They always offer an expanded soul perspective and in some cases suggest prayers or meditations.
The next heartbreaking question was posed by a mother who lost her little boy. I included it because many people ask if their loved ones suffered as they passed.
‘My child fell to his death from an upstairs window and I keep thinking of what he must have gone through as he fell.’ Here is the response. ‘As your child fell there was only a moment of fear before he was held by angels and taken to the light. He felt nothing but joy. Also it was his time to die.’
Because I cover such a wide range of subjects in Angel Answers, from Birth to Unicorns, I am just offering a taster in my column. Some people have very entrenched views, especially those brought up with religious dogma. However, the angels are pure spirit and see everything from the highest perspective, so if you feel upset or angered by some of the answers, don’t blame the messenger, just relax and tune into the angels for guidance for yourself.
