 So many people on the spiritual path are not truly happy, so I want to write about Sue Stone, whose new book, Love Life, Live Life: How to Have Happiness and Success Beyond Your Wildest Expectations, reminds you how to find real happiness.

It was during her time of deepest despair, when she and her children were totally penniless that she decided to put into practice all the techniques that she had read and studied to create success, wealth and happiness for herself.
From that moment she directed her thoughts, words and visualisations to a beautiful home for herself and her family. Within months, miraculous circumstances arose in which she found herself owning a beautiful house. Soon she used her personal manifestation techniques to attract many things including, not one but two horses. However her main concentration was on happiness. She says in Love Life, Live Life, ‘Inner peace is a state of vibration that is in harmony with the universe. The same frequency vibrations tend to attract each other, therefore the vibration of happiness is going to attract more happiness, wealth, better relationships and improved health. If money is your primary goal, you may not get it and be disappointed but if you desire happiness, money will flow to you.’
One of her keys for happiness is that she is always willing to help others and the door of her home is wide open. I have known Sue for a few years and have found her and her children unfailingly willing and helpful. As an example, when I called round last week to collect some manure from her horses for my vegetables, her twin sons were out in a flash to help me. They dug, bagged and heaved the bags of manure into my car with cheerful willingness.
Sue even has an angel story. She keeps hens who range freely. A couple of weeks ago she phoned to tell me that her son was going out and, as he did so, he reminded her to shut them in the hen house because they were all outside. She promised to do so but then the phone rang. She was chatting to a friend when she saw a large brown fox heading along the hedge towards the hen coup.
Dropping the phone she ran outside, calling on Archangel Michael to protect them. When she reached the hen coup, to her relief and amazement, every single chicken was inside and the door was firmly shut.
She had been settled in her beautiful home for several happy years when she saw her dream mansion in an Estate Agent’s window, which she could envisage as her home as well a healing and conference centre. Despite it being several million pounds beyond her means she placed the brochure prominently in her kitchen and started to ‘treat’ for it. A few weeks later she was on a national TV programme which was featuring her as a happy Mum who had overcome difficulties. Unbeknown to her the producer had seen the prospectus of her mansion and was asking her daughter about it. A few days later the inevitable happened. A man came to see her on other business. He mentioned that he had seen her on TV and revealed he was the owner of that house. Many a person would have curled up in horror at this point but not Sue. She confirmed that she did not yet have the finances in place at that moment but opened a bottle of champagne to drink to her buying his house! Watch this space.
