A LITTLE LIGHT ON THE SILENT STONES (June 2008)

Just as I was wondering what to write this month I met someone who was enthusing about my first novel, The Silent Stones. It sent me down memory lane as I thought about the dream which changed my life. For years I had been immersed in angels, until the night I woke from a vivid dream about a young man who had been given a Scroll from Atlantis by a dying Tibetan monk. He was told to get it translated, then reveal the information to the world. Unbeknown to me I had stepped onto a new pathway. Atlantis was beckoning. Later I learnt that my guides and angels wanted me to bring back information from the golden age, but that morning I just knew that this dream was the first part of a novel. So I wrote it down and waited.

A year later I found myself on holiday in the Himalayas with one of my daughters. We were camping just below the snowline, surrounded by mountain peaks and breathtaking beauty. In this setting we meditated under the full moon, not even realising it was the Wesak moon, when the Christ and Buddha, supported by the great Ascended Masters, meet in the Himalayas and a huge light is released to help Earth. People often ask me if the things that happened in my novels really took place. Well, next day we climbed up through an eerily abandoned village to a snowbound temple. We did not find a Scroll but I recognised the place in the dream where Marcus received it. However we did slide all the way down the mountain on a bedroll, with Krishna, our guide, just as Marcus and Joanna did in The Silent Stones. It was hair raising but fun.

And yes, I did go to Machu Picchu and travelled all round the area. It was incredible, but the official story given to tourists about ancient Machu Picchu did not resonate. I kept asking my guide Kumeka when I would receive the esoteric information about it that I needed for the book. He told me to be patient for it would be given to me through someone. A few months later my son, Justin, returned from a year in South America, during which he had walked the Inca Trail and experienced the extraordinary acknowledgement from the condors, just as Marcus did in The Silent Stones. He had never done channelling or had anything to do with angels. Suddenly he said, ‘Get a paper and pen Mum. I have an angel here who wants to tell you about Machu Picchu.’ I did so with alacrity and the angel told me through him the true story of the purpose of the city and how and why it was finally ‘abandoned.’ Everything resonated deeply. Justin said, ‘That’s all.’ And to the best of my knowledge nothing like that has ever happened to him again! Clearly he was an old Inca initiate and had passed on what needed to be shared. I never cease to wonder at the way the spiritual hierarchy orchestrate the meetings and events of our lives.

After that I was sent by my guide and angels to Australia for six months. They told me before I left that I would meet the right people and come back with information for another book. I was immediately filled with a great desire to meet Aborigine elders. Whenever I spoke to anyone I mentioned this, and before long met a lovely lady whose ex husband was at school with a group of them. They were in Cooktown, so with a phone number in my pocket I set off for the north east tip of Australia, way beyond the bitumen roads. It was a fascinating journey, which took me two months. On the way I stayed in the bush for a week and was taken to an Aborigine island where no white person could go uninvited. Here I spent a day at an Aborigine school and talked to the teachers and pupils. Then, at last I was in Cooktown, visiting the homes of various elders. The wisest, most dignified old man I have ever met became Uncle George in The Codes of Power, and I weave his extraordinary true story into the novel. He was a living embodiment of forgiveness and oneness and I felt blessed to meet him and his family.

When I returned home I wrote The Codes of Power, and no sooner was it finished than I went to Africa, Egypt, South Africa and Mozambique. On the plane home, after learning much about the sacred mysteries of Egypt, seeing the wonderful white lions and swimming with dolphins in Mozambique, I started to write, The Web of Light.

Many people have written to me asking for the next story in the series but it won’t be for a while, because the orbs are now consuming my attention (watch this space!)

I wish you love and blessings, Diana
